HOW IT HAPPENED
Â

Â
In the top of the fourth, UNO jumped out to a 5-1 advantage plating three runs on a solo home run by Cody Ducote and a two-run single by Pearce Howard.
Â
Louisiana got the rally going in the bottom of the fourth scoring three runs with two outs to cut the New Orleans lead to 5-4. Zach LaFleur plated the first run in the inning on a triple to left center. The final two runs came home on singles by Kole McKinnon and Jonathan Windham.
Â
The Cajuns and Privateers traded runs in the fifth inning as Bourgeois scored Cantrelle on a double to left center to make the score 6-5 UNO.
Â
In the bottom of the seventh, Bourgeois completed the comeback executing a perfect double squeeze bunt to score both Daniel Lahare and Cantrelle and give Louisiana a 7-6 edge.
