LAFAYETTE – For one final time in the 2018 season the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team (15-8) will take Cajun Courts, bringing a four-match winning streak into a doubleheader on Senior Day against the Prairie View A&M Panthers on Friday, Mar. 30 with the first match starting at 2:45 p.m. and the second beginning at 5:45 p.m.

HOW TO TRACK THE MATCH: Live stats will be provided via ragincajuns.com and links can be found on the home page and the men's tennis schedule page.

SENIOR DAY FESTIVITIES: Louisiana will honor senior Vlad Kramarov on the court before the second match, with the ceremony scheduled to begin at 5:45 p.m.

COME GET SOME CRAWFISH AND BRING SOME CANNED GOODS: The first 75 fans who come through the gates on Friday night will get free Crawfish Etouffee to enjoy during the match and fans are encouraged to bring canned goods, to donate to the FoodNet Food Bank of Lafayette's Canned Good Food Drive.

ONE FINAL TIME FOR VLAD: Louisiana's lone senior to be honored on senior day is Vlad Kramarov. Kramarov, who hails from Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukranie, has been a vocal force for the Cajuns for the past four seasons and his voice can always be heard getting the team going with a loud, 'COME ON BOYS'.

In his career Kramraov has complied a 49-58 in singles and a 25-24 record in doubles giving him a combined career record of 74-82 over his four years at Louisiana. During his freshman year he was named to the All-ITA Academic Team and named to the Sun Belt Conference Commissioner's List. In his sophomore season Kramraov scored a big win over UTSA's Eric Buchhalter who was ranked No. 62 in the nation at the time and again he was named to the SBC Commissioner's List.

His junior season was highlighted by a win over Alabama's Langford Hills in the ITA Southern Regionals and in doubles Kramarov and at the time freshman Pearse Dolan snagged the Battle on the Bayou title.

Kramarov's senior season has been his best yet, and so far, he's 13-8 in singles and 7-6 in doubles. Along with sophomore Elio Lago, Kramarov snagged a win over the then nationally ranked No. 22 doubles pairing of Francois Musitelli and Aziz Fijametovic. Kramarov's 13 wins is the second most on the team this season and he's been unstoppable in the No. 3 slot, going 6-2 this season.

Kramarov's leadership on the court, and energy in getting his teammates going, will be missed by the Cajuns and his patent cheers of 'THAT'S A SET BOYS' and 'BREAK POINT BOYS' will remain in Cajuns fans ears for years to come.

MAKE IT 11 FOR LAGO: Lago has been on a tear winning 11 straight matches. He hasn't dropped a match in singles since Feb. 10 at Old Dominion and he sits at 14-6, leading the Cajuns in singles wins. Lago sits at 7-6 in doubles and that puts his combined record at 20-12.

STILL LEADING THE SUN BELT: Louisiana's record sits at a SBC best 15-8, and they're four-match winning streak is the second best current streak in the conference, behind only Troy's five-match streak. Louisiana's 15 wins are four better than Georgia Southern (11-10) and South Alabama's (11-6) 11 wins. The Cajuns' .652 winning streak also sits at the top of the conference, with the tournament fast approaching.

WHAT THE PANTHERS BRING: PVAMU enters the match sitting at 4-21, having dropped their previous seven matches. The Panthers haven't had a win since putting three together, with the tail end of that streak being a win over Jackson State at the SWAC Round Up II during the weekend of Mar. 17-18.

This is the second straight season that the Cajuns will face the Panthers in a doubleheader, having taken down the Panthers last season at Cajun Courts. The first time the Cajuns and the Panthers faced off was in 2012, a win for the Cajuns, and that was the only other time before 2017 that the two met on the court.
