Louisiana looks to get back on track after having eight-match win streak snapped
LAFAYETTE – After having its eight-match win streak snapped last week against Sun Belt Conference opponent Georgia State, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team continues its 10-match homestand on Saturday when it welcomes Conference USA member UT San Antonio at Cajun Courts.

Louisiana (8-3) dropped a 6-1 decision to Georgia State last week as the Panthers rallied to claim all six matches in singles play. The Ragin' Cajuns claimed the doubles point beginning with a dominant 6-1 win from Eric Perez and Coleman Wahlborg at No. 1 and a clinching 6-3 victory from Jamie Fraser and Arthur Libaud at No. 2.

Libaud (6-3) and Perez (6-2) have each recorded a team-high six victories in singles play to lead Louisiana with Fraser winning his last five matches and posting a 5-2 record. The freshman tandem of Pearse Dolan and Elio Lago have each record 4-1 records in singles play for Louisiana, which has posted a combined 33-15 singles record in dual matches.

In doubles play, the tandem of Fraser and Libaud has won seven straight matches for the Ragin' Cajuns after a season-opening loss with Dolan and Vlad Kramarov posting a 5-2 record at No. 1.

UTSA (2-4) has earned wins this spring over Prairie View and UT Rio Grande Valley while falling to fourth-ranked Texas, Incarnate Word, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Texas Tech.

Alex Cronje and Takeru Watanabe have each posted three wins in singles play to lead the Roadrunners with the tandem of Fabian Brand and Igor Cantanhede recording a 4-2 record in doubles play. Kai Breitbach has been the mainstay at No. 1 singles for UTSA, posting a 2-4 record.
