Men's Tennis Drops 4-1 Decision to Yale

WILMINGTON, N.C. -- The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team fell, 4-1 vs. Yale on the campus of UNC Wilmington on Saturday morning.
The loss dropped the Cajuns' record to 11-9 this season.
Yale swept doubles as Nathan Brown and Alex Hagermoser defeated UL junior Will Huyton and freshman Arthur Libaud, 6-1 at No. 3. Photos Photiades and Martin Svenning prevailed over junior Coleman Wahlborg and sophomore Vlad Kramarov, 6-4 at No. 2 to take the doubles point.
In singles, the Cajuns took the first point at the No. 1 spot after senior Edgar Lopez came out on top, 6-3, 6-0 over Ziqi Wang.
At No. 5 singles, Dennis Wang beat junior Eric Perez in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4, while Svenning ended the match with a 2-6, 7-5, 5-2 win over Kramarov at No. 4.
The Cajuns return to action on Sunday, March 20 vs. No. 57 UNC Wilmington. First serve is set for 10 a.m. CST.
