Cajuns (12-3, 5-1 SBC) moved up two spots after sweeping a pair of road games last week

LAFAYETTE -- The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team improved their standing in the CollegeInsider.com Women's Basketball Mid-Major poll this week, moving up two spots to No. 22.
The Cajuns (12-3, 5-1 SBC) are coming off a 3-1 conference road trip after sweeping Georgia Southern and Georgia State last week. Louisiana is in the mid-major poll for the seventh straight week and garnered 92 points in this week's rankings.
The Ragin' Cajuns return to Lafayette for a five-game homestand beginning this Thursday, Jan. 21 for a 5 p.m. tip-off with South Alabama at the Cajundome.
CollegeInsider.com Women's Mid-Major Top 25 is in its sixth season of existence. The Mid-Major Poll is made up of teams from the following conferences: America East, Atlantic Sun, Big Sky, Big South, Big West, Colonial, Horizon, Independents, Ivy, Metro Atlantic, Mid-American, Mid-Eastern, Missouri Valley, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot, Southern, Southland, Southwestern, Summit, Sun Belt, West Coast and Western Athletic.
