Cajuns Win Fourth Straight Against Tyler JC, 6-1

LAFAYETTE, La. – The 69th-ranked Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team won its fourth straight match on Saturday defeating Tyler Junior College 6-1 at Cajun Courts.

The Cajuns (14-4) swept doubles competition with twins Hunter and Yates Johnson besting the duo of Ryan Hudelson and Trey Seymour on court three, 8-4, to clinch the point.

In singles competition, Hunter Johnson quickly notched his 11th straight victory defeating Hudelson in straight sets 6-1, 6-0 to make the score 2-0.

After Carl Alberton pulled Louisiana within point with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at the No. 6 position, Damian Farinola clinched the match defeating Trey Seymour in straight sets on court five, 6-2, 6-0.

Jake Wynan also posted his 11th victory of the season on court one, 6-1, 6-4, while Edgar Lopez recorded the Cajuns other point taking down James Martell 6-2, 6-3 at the No. 3 position.

The Ragin' Cajuns continue their four-match homestand at Cajun Courts on Friday, March 28 at 3 p.m. against UTSA.
