LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana volleyball team continues its nine-match road trip beginning Friday (Sept. 13) when it travels to Athens, Ga., to compete in the Benson's Hospitality Invitational at Stegeman Coliseum.
Louisiana (6-2), on its longest road trip in four years, will open the two-day tournament against UNC Greensboro (4-2) on Friday at 3 p.m. CDT before facing host Georgia (5-1) on Saturday at noon and North Florida (3-4) at 3 p.m.

Louisiana opened its road trip on Tuesday with a three-set sweep of Jackson State behind a career-high 12 kills and a .526 hitting percentage from Kaylee Nemeth.
Sara Mossakowski (3.09) and Lavina Tataran (3.00) are the top offensive players for Louisiana in kills per set. Andrea Hole leads the Ragin' Cajuns with 9.81 assists per set while Taylor Meade leads the Sun Belt Conference – and is tied for 37th nationally – in service aces per set (0.52).
Defensively, Caitlyn Auxilien leads Louisiana with 4.00 digs per set followed by Tataran at 2.52.
The meetings against UNC Greensboro and Georgia will be the first for Louisiana while Saturday's finale against UNF will be the second all-time between the schools.
