Men’s Tennis Travels To Houston Futures

HOUSTON, Texas – The Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team is back in action this weekend at the USTA Houston Futures event which is being held from Oct. 5-13 at Jake Hess Tennis Stadium on the Rice campus.

"Playing against the professionals this weekend will again challenge our guys and better them as players and more importantly as competitors," head coach Mark Jeffrey said. "This will also be a chance to gain a professional ranking in singles for one of our guys. Its an opportunity for someone to break through and gain confidence and momentum from for sure I know the guys are ready and hungry, and we look forward to the trip to Houston this weekend."

Edgar Lopez, Jake Wynan, Jarred Wynan and Damian Farinola are slated to compete for Louisiana at the event. For updates and info follow the team on twitter @CajunMensTennis.
