The Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team suffered a 5-1 setback Sunday afternoon against No.60 Stephen F. Austin at Cajun Courts.
“I have to give a lot of credit to Stephen F. Austin,” head coach Greg Harkins said. “They came in and played strong tennis all afternoon. We will have to regroup and come to work on Wednesday when we face Nicholls State.”
The two teams started with singles competition. Milou Israel was the lone Cajun to pull out a win and did so with a gutsy 4-6, 6-4, 10-8 win over Elena Kordolaimi at No.1.
“Milou has been playing some incredible tennis lately,” Harkins said. “She continues to gut out wins and do all she can to lead this team.”
