BATON ROUGE, La. – With only two events left before the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, the Ragin' Cajuns men's golf team is slated to tee off at the LSU National Invitational on Saturday. The 54-hole tournament is being played at the University Club in Baton Rouge, La.
The first round is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. on Saturday with the second round to follow in the afternoon. Third round play begins on Sunday at 8:30 a.m.
The Cajuns have placed in the top-5 in six of their eight events on the year. Senior Philipp Fendt is coming off of his best career finish placing second at the prestigious Border Olympics.
The LSU National Invitational field includes host No.18 LSU, Boston College, No.30 Chattanooga, Furman, No.33 Iowa, Iowa State, Louisiana Tech, Michigan, Minnesota, No.47 Purdue and UNC Wilmington.
