>>>Louisiana and North Texas will meet for the 33rd time in the history of the two basketball programs on Wednesday night.
>>>UL swept the season series against the Mean Green last year, marking the first time the Cajuns have swept a conference opponent since the 2007-08 campaign.
>>>The Cajuns took the loss at Arkansas State, but saw many positive signs come from the game. Louisiana outrebounded the Red Wolves 38-36, marking the first time the Ragin' Cajuns have done so in SBC play.
>>>UL outscored ASU by eight in the second half and had four players finish the game with at least nine points.
>>>Krystal Motley led the Cajuns in scoring with 17 points, while grabbing five boards and dishing out a career-high five assists at UALR. >>>The Cajuns shot 21-of-50 (.420) from the field against Arkansas State, marking the highest field goal percentage in conference play for UL. Louisiana held the Red Wolves to 20-of-64 (.313) from the floor on Saturday. It was the third best field goal defense the squad has produced this season.
>>>Louisiana outrebounded Arkansas State on the glass 38-36 on Saturday. It was the first time the Cajuns have outrebounded their opponent in Sun Belt play.
>>>Louisiana is seeking to snap an eight game losing skid. UL has not lost eight in a row since the 2008-09 season.

>>>Krystal Motley poured in 11 points on Saturday tying for the team-high. Motley has led the Cajuns in scoring eight times this year and is eighth in the SBC in scoring average (13.9).
>>>Josie West ranks fifth in defensive rebounding (5.1 drpg) in conference play. West is averaging 6.4 total rebounds in the seven SBC games.
>>>The Ragin' Cajuns recorded 10 steals at Arkansas State, marking the ninth time UL has posted 10 or more steals in a contest. Louisiana ranks second in the Sun Belt in steals with 8.9 per game.
>>>The squad tallied 13 assists on Saturday giving them 69 during conference play. Louisiana is at the bottom of the SBC in assists on the year but are fifth in league play games averaging just under 10 a game.
