UL Closes Home Slate With 6-1 Win

The win moves the Cajuns to 7-11 on the season heading into the season finale at Lamar on Sunday, April 17.
UL jumped out in front, 1-0, winning the doubles matches after Yanick Mandl and Brandon Fairne won 8-4, followed by Carlin Murray and Ted Nilsson's 8-4 victory.
Mandl, Murray and Nilsson then went on to win their respective singles matches. Mandl playing from no. 1 singles, won his match 6-3, 6-1. Murray, at the no. 2 spot, grabbed a 6-2, 7-6 victory while Nilsson downed his opponent, 7-5, 6-4.
Eliiot Minvielle won handidly at the no. 5 spot, 6-0, 6-0.
The Golden Eagles defaulted in the no. 3 doubles and the no. 6 singles, resulting in a full point for the Cajuns.
