Cajuns Fall To No. 33 Tigers

The Cajuns are now 0-3 but all three losses come against nationally-ranked opponents.
Playing in the number two spot, Murray won his first match of the season in straight sets - 6-3, 6-3.
Yanick Mandl and Brandon Fairne also tallied a win in doubles after downing Tom Knights and Botwell, 8-5. But the Tigers won the other two matches to capture the doubles' point.
In the rest of the singles matches, the Tigers swept in straight sets.
In other doubles action, Murray teamed up with Ted Nilsson against the No. 27 duo of Sebastian Carlsson and Neal Skupski. The ranked pair proved to be too much for the Cajuns and won the set, 8-2.
On Friday, the Cajuns will face their fourth-straight nationally-ranked opponent. UL will head to Houston, Texas for a match against No. 34 Rice.
