No. 48 Owls Sweep Cajuns' Men's Tennis

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision against No. 48 Rice in Houston, Texas on Friday afternoon. The loss was the fourth-straight to a nationally-ranked team for the Cajuns this season.

UL drops to 0-4 on the season. Rice improves to 6-2.

In the No. 1 spot, Carlin Murray battled No. 44 Harry Fowler in the first set but eventually fell - 6-4, 6-2.

Playing at the No. 2 position, Yanick Mandl won the Cajuns' only set on the day but fell in a third set tie breaker to Peter Frank, 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-3).

The rest of UL's squad was swept in straight sets.

The Cajuns will now play at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Sunday, Feb. 11.
