The Ragin' Cajuns (10-14, 3-8) led early in the contest, but a 13-1 run in the second half by FIU helped the Panthers to a 62-52 victory on Wednesday evening in Miami.
Lyndra Bell added a team-high 14 points for Louisiana. Two others reached double-digits including D'Mya Clay with 12 and Jasmine Barnes with 10 points.
The Ragin' Cajuns have lost their last four road contests, with their last road victory coming against North Texas in a 65-54 win at Denton on Jan. 1.
