>>>The Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball is 1-1 so far on its current three game road swing. UL fell to Savannah State 41-36 on Wednesday, but bounced back to defeat Bethune-Cookman 72-67 on Friday night.
>>>Louisiana's current road record is 3-3 as they look to get a victory over Mississippi State for the first time in school history on Monday night in Starkville, Miss. This will mark the seventh matchup between the programs, with the Bulldogs winning the first six contests.
>>>The Cajuns rebounded nicely against Bethune-Cookman after scoring a season-low 36 points in the loss to Savannah State. UL scored a season-high 72 points in the victory over BCU and shot a season-best 6-of-9 (67%) from behind the arc.
>>>Freshman guard Laurie' Beaty scored a career-high 12 points on Friday, which included going 8-for-8 from the charity stripe. Fellow freshman Robbie Brown had a career-best herself posting six of the Ragin' Cajun's steals.

>>>Robbie Brown posted an impressive stat line on Friday versus the Lady Wildcats. Brown had a career-best six steals, while grabbing five rebounds and added three assists. The freshman leads the team averaging two steals per game which is eighth best in the SBC.
>>>Junior Olivia Nino poured in an individual best 12 points last game. Nino was 5-of-11 from the field and had four steals.
CANT CATCH A BREAK
>>>Krystal Motley sat out for the second straight game on Friday. Motley is the Cajun's leading scorer averaging over 14 points a game.
>>>Within the first minute of the contest against Bethune-Cookman, Kemi Rotibi left the game due to a knee injury as she was attempting to haul in a rebound. The senior was the team's second leading scorer (9.9 ppg) and leading rebounder (7.9 rpg). Rotibi was second in the conference in blocked shots (2.3 bpg).

>>>The Cajuns shot 47 percent from the field against the Lady Wildcats on Friday. UL held BCU to 42 percent shooting from the floor and improved their record to 4-1 on the year when outshooting their opponent.
>>>Louisiana and Bethune-Cookman finished with the same amount of turnovers. The Ragin' Cajuns are now 5-1 when forcing more or the same number of turnovers as their opposition.
