Women Beat Southeastern 6-1

The Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team finished a make-up game against Southeastern on Sunday with a 6-1 victory over the Lions at Cajun Courts. The Cajuns (8-8) began the match up 1-0, having won the doubles point back in February.

Audrey Wooland knocked off Audrey Chelini 6-2, 6-0 at the No. 1 spot, while Julie Mazinova defeated Morgane Dadot 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 2 spot.

Milou Israel beat Nina Schmeid 3-6, 5-7, 10-2. Mia Gordon beat Isabel Brito 6-2, 6-2, and Tara Vasovic defeated Annika Hanke 6-2, 7-6.

The Cajuns will now travel to play Northwestern State on Friday in a make-up match. They will then head to Troy, Ala., on Saturday to take on both Troy and South Alabama in preparation for the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
