Women Bested by Northwestern State 5-2

The Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team finished its match against Northwestern State on Friday night with a 5-2 loss to the Demons in Natchitoches, La.
The Cajuns (8-9) were able to take couple singles points and won one of the doubles matches, but lost the point.
Audrey Wooland defeated Olga Bazhanova 6-2, 6-3 at the No. 1 spot. Julie Mazinova defeated Adna Curukovic 6-2, 1-0 (12-10).
The team of Briggit Marcovich and Tara Vasovic knocked off Kathrin Lange and Bianca Shultz 8-4.
The Cajuns as they will now prepare for the Sun Belt Conference Tournament with a couple of tune up games against SBC opponents as they head to Troy, Ala., to take on Troy and South Alabama on Saturday and Sunday.
