Cajuns Take it to the Beach

The Ragin' Cajuns women's soccer team recently returned from a three day weekend in Pensacola Beach Florida. The three day trip included matches vs. the University of Mobile in Alabama and the University of West Florida.

Along with the soccer matches over the weekend the team prepared numerous meals and participated in several team bonding exercises.

“It was an incredible weekend; we really came together as a team. We learned more about each other,” said coach Scot Wieland. “We learned who has cooking skills and who doesn't, who can make the best sand sculpture and we showed that we are capable of playing some great soccer. The weekend was very successful and I could not have been happier with the overall results from the trip”.

Wieland added, “I know that the team is looking forward to the trip again next spring.”
