Soccer Set for Home Opener with McNeese

LAFAYETTE-Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns women's soccer team is set to host their home opener on Tuesday night against McNeese State.  Kickoff for the match is set for 7:00 p.m.

 

The Cajuns return home after a pair of weekend matches.  UL finished the weekend 1-1-0 after dropping a 2-0 decision to Baylor and claiming a 3-2 overtime victory against Sam Houston State.

 

Head coach Scot Wieland will be looking for his 100th win as a head coach.  Wieland is in his third season at the helm of the Cajuns' soccer program and led the team to its best finish in 2006. 

 

The Ragin' Cajuns' match with the Cowgirls will be streamed live via internet at www.ragincajuns.com.  Live stats will be available for the match as well.
