Cajuns Compete at Tiger XC Festival

BATON ROUGE-Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Tiger Cross Country Festival on Saturday. Both teams finished fourth at the meet.
The men finished the meet with 88 points, while the women ended with 111 points.
In men's action, Joby Gisclair placed 12th with his time of 27:53.61. Gisclair's time earned him 11 points. He was followed by Reese Lee who finished 16th with a time of 28:21.80 and 14 points. Peter Stelly, Geoffrey Goudeau and Nathan Cormier finished 27th, 28th and 30th respectively. Stelly finished with 20 points, Goudeau had 21 points, and Cormier had 22 points.
For the UL women, Callie Picou was the top finisher, placing 19th with a time of 23:49.49 and 19 points. Casey Brown placed 22nd and earned 21 points with her time of 24:47.89. Jasmine Collins finished 23rd with a time of 24:51.60 and 22 points. Paula Parker placed 24th and earned 23 points with her time of 24:59.38. Suzanne Boudreaux finished 28th with 26 points, Ashley Faulk finished 29th with 27 points and Lindsey Mertens finished 30th with 28 points.
