Ladies Compete at Chile Pepper Festival

The Cajuns scored 871 points to put them just ahead of instate rival Louisiana-Monroe who finished 33rd.
Casey Brown was the top finisher for the Cajuns placing 142nd overall. Brown finished the race with a time 23:59.8.
Paula Parker placed 173rd with a time of 24:43.7, and Jasmine Collins finished 177th with her time of 24:47.2.
Callie Picou and Suzanne Boudreaux both finished in the top 200 placing 179th and 200th respectively. Picou had a time of 24:49.5, and Boudreaux finished with a time of 25:25.4.
Lindsey Mertens and Tiffany Saltzman also competed for the Cajuns.
