Cajuns Men and Women Sweep NSU Invitational

NATCHITOCHES - The University of Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajun men's and women's cross country teams come away with first place finishes at the Northwestern State University Cross Country Invitational.

Walter Whitfield, Jake Simmons, and Chad Campbell all finished in the top ten for the men while Analise Zaunbrecher, Laura Zaunbrecher, and Jennifer Gautreaux all had top ten finishes for the women.

This marks the first time this season both the men and women both finished first and the second championship of the season for the men. Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns will next be in action on October 16th at the Chili Pepper Run in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

This is also the third straight meet this season that Walter Whitfield and Jake Simmons have finished in the top ten for the men.
