BATON ROUGE - Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns women's soccer
team scored a school record 10 goals en route to an easy
10-0 victory over the Jackson State Tigers Friday
evening in the first day of the LSU Tiger Classics here
at the LSU Soccer Complex.
The win marked the first season-opening victory for the
Cajuns since the program's inception in 2000 and was the
Cajuns first-ever victory in the month of August.
Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns will return to action Saturday
at 11 a.m. when they take on the Coastal Carolina
Chanticleers in the final day of the LSU Tiger Classics.
