UL Lafayette's woes continued, as the Cajuns dropped their fourth consecutive home game by way of a 75-63 decision to Middle Tennessee on Saturday afternoon.? Louisiana-Lafayette falls to 5-11 (1-5), while Middle Tennessee improves to 9-7 (2-2).

An 8-1 run in the second half gave the Cajuns life, cutting a 20-point deficit to 13 with 12:37 to play.? Middle Tennessee proved to be too strong though, as they never allowed the Cajuns to get any closer than 10 points the rest of the way.

Jennifer Justice led Middle Tennessee with 19 points, while Tiffany Fisher added 12.? Star forward Jamie Thomatis, who entered the game averaging 18.6 points, had 10 points in 20 minutes.

Charlotte Green paced all scorers with 23 points.? Sarah Richey added 16 points and eight rebounds.

Middle Tennessee jumped out to an 8-0 lead to start the game.? The Cajuns missed their first six shots and turned the ball over five times in the game's first five minutes.

A 21-9 run helped the Lady Raiders grab their biggest lead at 33-13.? MT shot 55 percent in the first half en route to a 41-23 advantage at the break.?
