Kyle Carrigee
Kyle Carrigee begins his third season as Director of Student-Athlete Development for the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns men’s basketball team.

A 2013 graduate of UL Lafayette, Carrigee brings a wealth of basketball knowledge to the program that includes stints at the high school, junior college and AAU level.

Carrigee served as a manager for the Ragin’ Cajuns from 2012-13 and was an assistant coach for former Louisiana standout Brad Boyd at Opelousas High School, helping the Tigers to the 2016 district title. In 2011-12, Carrigee served as an assistant coach at Lamar State-Port Arthur, helping the Seahawks to a 24-8 record.

Working with his father, Rick Carrigee, they created and ran Southern Elite – one of the top AAU basketball programs in Louisiana. During the summer of 2017, Carrigee served as a coach at the prestigious Michael Jordan camp in Santa Barbara, Calif.  

Carrigee was a two-time all-district selection in high school at Christian Life Academy in Baton Rouge. He was a member of the NIKE Louisiana Select Team.

He is married to the former Lacey Broussard and they reside in Lafayette.
