Langston Behr

Langston Behr enters his first year at Louisiana after spending the past two years at VMI. He will directly oversee strength and conditioning programs for the Women's Basketball team.
Before his stint at VMI, Behr served as the first-ever graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at Lander University. At Lander, he oversaw the strength and conditioning programs for Men’s and Women’s Tennis, Men’s and Women’s Golf, Acrobatics and Tumbling and Cross Country, while assisting with all other sports on campus.
Prior to his time at Lander, Behr worked several internships in the strength and conditioning field, including stints at Campbell University, Saint Augustine’s University and Elon University. Behr also served as an intern in the private sector at Train 4 The Game in Austin, Texas, as well as having completed a virtual internship with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, Behr holds a bachelor's of exercise and sports science with a concentration in health and fitness management and a minor in business administration from Texas State University. He also has a masters in management from Lander University.
He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, holds a level one certification in weightlifting from USA Weightlifting, and is CPR/AED certified through the American Red Cross.
