2002: Was named the Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Year for second straight season...Was a a member of the 2002 NFCA All-South Region second team...Entered the postseason with an 11-game winning streak, a new career high...Became the school’s second winningest pitcher with her 11th win of the season at Middle Tennessee...Her 84 career wins are second only to Kyla Hall’s 104...Coronado was named the Sun Belt Conference Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player after tossing two shutouts of Middle Tennessee...Limited the Lady Raiders to six hits over 14 innings...Threw one-hitter in championship game last Sunday....Entering the postseason had allowed just one earned run in her last four starts, a span of 27 innings...Led the Lady Cajuns' pitching staff with a 1.51 ERA...Went 6-0 in Sun Belt Conference play with a 1.17 ERA, allowing just seven earned runs in 42 innings...Picked up all three wins for the Lady Cajuns April 6-7 against Western Kentucky...Went 3-0 and allowed no earned runs over 20 innings, while walking just three batters...For her efforts she was named the SBC Pitcher of the Week April 8, the only Lady Cajuns' pitcher to garner that honor this season...Finished her SBC career 17-1...Led the Lady Cajuns' pitching staff with seven shutouts...Had two saves to her credit...Entered the top of the seventh against Florida International April 28 in game two with runners on second and third and recorded the final out of final regular season game for the seniors at Lady Cajun Park...Had an 11-game win streak snapped against UMass at the NCAA Region III in Lafayette...Her 105 career starts ranks her second all-time...Her 130 career appearances are two shy of the school record 132 (Kyla Hall).
2001: Finished fifth in the nation in victories...Became winningest pitcher in storied programs’ history after defeating Top 10 power Arizona State at NCAA Regional III...Had 28-inning scoreless streak that started April 25 and ended May 5, and hurled two shutouts over New Mexico State...Had no-hitter going in April 27 meeting with Aggies until two outs in seventh inning...Went 11-1 in conference games and had a 0.96 ERA...Went 3-3 against teams ranked in Top 5...Handed second-ranked Arizona first loss of season March 15, allowing just two earned runs against nation’s strongest hitting team...Also defeated fifth-ranked Louisiana State April 18, giving up just three hits and one run...In second game with Tigers, did not give up an earned run in 4.1 innings of relief...Hurled a five-inning no-hitter against Nicholls State March 24...Gave up more than three earned runs just twice...Tallied eight shutouts...Held opponents to a .197 batting average...Struck out season-high 10 against Northwestern State April 4.
2000: Fought through sophomore campaign plagued with injuries and tough luck…Emerged with best strikeout-walk ratio among pitching staff…Finished third on team with 12 victories, moving her two-year total to 34…Led team in ERA at 1.42…In her six losses, Lady Cajuns managed only six runs…Was victorious in final seven decisions of the season, after falling to 5-6 on March 26…Twice struck out 10 batters, doing so against Southern and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
1999: Freshman hurler was big surprise of pitching staff...Led team with 0.98 ERA, 22 wins, 18 complete games, eight shutouts, 170.2 innings pitched, 173 strikeouts and a .201 opponents’ batting average...Was named Tournament MVP at NFCA Lead off Classic in Columbus, Ga., following stellar weekend...Struck out 20 batters and gave up only one run in 18 innings of work as she posted 3-0 mark with wins over Hofstra, South Carolina and DePaul...Win over DePaul was in championship game...For her efforts, was named the NFCA National Player of the Week...At Kia Klassic, shined yet again against nationally-ranked squads...Pitched three-hit shutout over then-No. 12 Oregon State March 18 while collecting nine Ks...Against No. 4 Washington in semifinals March 20, pitched 12 innings and struck out season-best 13 to lift Lady Cajuns to dramatic win...Gave up only one earned run despite pitching last five innings using international tiebreaker rule (runner placed on second every inning)
High School: All-American as a sophomore at Pearland High...List of honors include being named All-State MVP, as well as being named to All-Greater Houston four times...During sophomore year, had 16-3 record with 0.22 ERA and also carried .455 batting average...Through first three seasons, compiled a 42-10 record with 0.88 ERA...In state championship game, pitched over 16 innings without allowing a hit.
Personal: Born March 24, 1980...Parents are Adam and Adrianna Coronado...Has one younger sister...Major is exercise science...Favorite TV show is Friends...Favorite ice cream is rainbow sherbert... Also considered South Florida.
