Terrance Motley is a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns. He currently assists with all aspects of training the football team and is in charge of coordinating and implementing training programs for men’s and women’s tennis.
Before coming to UL, Motley served as an intern strength and conditioning coach at LSU where he worked with Tigers’ football, volleyball, and baseball. He was also an intern at Brigham Young University, where he assisted in training the Cougars’ football, baseball, and men’s rugby teams.
Motley is certified through both the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS) and USA Weightlifting (USAW-1).
A native of Albuquerque, N.M., Motley is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Kinesiology – Sport/Recreational Management at UL.
In 2015, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Wellness from BYU, where he played football and rugby and was a part of two national championship rugby seasons.
He is married to the former Katelyn Kerr and they have one son, Kai.
