Played final three seasons at Jesuit College Prep in Dallas...Pitched and played first and third base...Was 5-3 with a 2.26 ERA last season to earn first-team All-District honors...Struck out 42 and walked 17 in 34 innings...Earned 2009 Pre-season All-American honors from Rawlings and was an All-District selection...Named Offensive MVP after posing a .388 batting average as a junior...Was ranked in the Top 200 high school prospect list by Perfect Game and was invited to the 2009 Area Code Games, and the 2009 MLB Texas Scouts Association All-Star event...Attended Holy Cross High School in New Orleans before spending a year at Northlake Christian following Hurricane Katrina...Moved to Dallas after his freshman season.
