Was a four-year letterwinner at St. Thomas More High School where he helped lead the Cougars to 4A State Championship in 2014 and 2015…Also helped guide the squad to the state final in 2013 and semifinal in 2012…Was the only player from the state of Louisiana selected to play in San Diego's Petco Park for the Perfect Game All-American game in 2014, which features the top 50 players in the nation…Named both a Perfect Game All-American and a Louisville Slugger All-American… Ranked the No. 1 player out of high school in the state of Louisiana in 2015, and the No. 5 left-handed pitcher nationally by Perfect Game… Received all-state and all-district honors from 2013-15…Went 6-1 with five shutouts, one save and a 0.67 ERA in his senior season…Allowed just eight hits in 42 innings with 76 strikeouts and 26 walks in his final year with the Cougars…Posted a 1.03 ERA with a 15-1 career record over four years at St. Thomas More...Also played football from 2012-13 as a quarterback for STM.
