Appeared in five games over the season’s first four weekends … first game action since transferring from Illinois and redshirting in 2015 … saw time as both a defensive substitute and pinch hitter … made her Ragin’ Cajuns debut on Feb. 12 in Gulf Shores, playing at third base in the final inning vs. UAB … after a leadoff single, delivered an assist to Haley Hayden for a force out the runner at second base … had pinch-hit plate appearances in both tournaments at Lamson Park (Feb. 21 vs. Central Arkansas and Feb. 26 vs. Rutgers) … appeared in both games of the Saturday doubleheader at Southern Miss, playing at third base in the final inning of each game.

Received undergraduate degree in general studies ... was the top magna cum laude graduate in College of General Studies ... enrolled in graduate school to pursue a master’s in education kinesiology.

Played two seasons at Illinois for coach Terri Sullivan … made 79 appearances with 66 starts for the Fighting Illini … made 64 of her starts at third base … hit .199 during her two seasons in Champaign with 38 hits, 21 RBI and 11 runs scored … totaled three sacrifice flies during the 2013 season to tie her for sixth in the Big Ten and 80th in the nation … tied a 12-year school record with nine assists without an error in a game against Houston on Feb. 15, 2013.

Smithson Valley captured district titles her freshman, sophomore and junior seasons ... batted .456 with five home runs, 36 RBI and 13 stolen bases during her freshman season ... followed up her stellar freshman campaign by hitting .515 with 11 home runs, 44 RBI and 15 stolen bases as a sophomore before connecting for a .502 batting average with six homers, 40 RBI and 12 stolen bases as a junior ... travel team, the Texas Bombers Gold, finished second at the 2010 Colorado Independence Day Tournament and was in the top 20 at the 2010 ASA Gold Nationals and 2011 Premiere Nationals ... batted .462 with 11 homers and 51 RBI during the 2011 summer season with the Texas Bombers Gold.
