Spring 2013:
Notched a team-best 14 singles wins as a true freshman finishing the season with a 14-7 record…Made an appearance in 23 dual matches…Played on lines three through six…Won six straight matches to open the season including wins against ranked opponents No.54 Miami, Fla., No.62 North Florida and No.72 ETSU…Posted a 13-7 record in doubles competition with his twin brother Yates…Clinched the doubles point three times…Had two separate win streaks of four matches.
 
Fall 2012: Went 5-3 in singles competition reaching the final of his flight at the Lamar Cardinal Classic…Was the only Cajun to win his first round match at the HEB Intercollegiate defeating Kolby Kilgo of USTA, 6-0, 6-2…Posted a 1-1 record at the Birmingham Futures…Had a 2-2 record in doubles play playing primarily with Jarred Wynan.
 
High School: Rated 10th nationally in doubles with his brother Yates…Four-time individual state doubles champion winning three in Arizona and one in Texas… Won the Mike Agassi No Quit Tournament in Las Vegas (16 doubles), the National Tournament in Carmel, Calif. (16 doubles) and the National Tournament in South Carolina (18 doubles)…Rated 38th in singles nationally…Also played baseball from 2009-10.
 
Personal: Full name is Hunter Walker Johnson…Born June 2, 1994 in Taos, New Mexico…Son of Jeff and Dawn Johnson…Has an identical twin brother, Yates who is a teammate on the Cajuns tennis team…Hopes to play doubles on tour upon graduation...Plans to major in management.
