On June 3, was named to the 2002 USA Softball Elite Team that will compete at the Canada Cup in Surrey, B.C., July 12-21...Was named one of the finalists for the inaugural USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Award...Listed as one of the 22 core athletes with a direct invitation to the USA Softball Olympic Camp Trials to be held May 30-June 3 in Chula Vista, Calif...Was named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week March 18 and April 15...Was named to the All-Conference first team for the third straight year...Addison became the school’s all-time career home runs leader when she hit her 44th career home run in the fourth inning of a 6-1 win over Houston, Feb. 22 in the Louisiana Classics... Her 16 home runs this season broke the single-season individual record that she set last season (15 in 2001)...Hit her 16th home run to lead off the top of the fourth against Mississippi State at the 2002 NCAA Region III at Lady Cajun Park...Finished her career with 57 home runs, a total that ranks in the Top 10 in NCAA history...She has had double-digit home runs in each of her four years at UL Lafayette...Her home run in the top of the first of game two on Sunday, April 21 at New Mexico State, gave UL Lafayette 62 homers as a team and set the new school record for home runs in a single-season...She also became the school’s all-time runs batted in leader with her two-run home run in the seventh inning of game one April 20 at New Mexico State... Finished her career with 221 RBIs breaking the old mark of 211 set by former All-American Jana Mower...Her RBI total ranks in the Top 10 in NCAA history...Twice this season she has gone 2-for-3 with two home runs and five RBIs in a game (March 14 vs. Utah, April 14 at Middle Tennessee)...Addison had 14 multi-RBI games, five of them four-plus RBI games and is second on the team with 53 RBIs...Her 63 doubles are two shy of the school career record of 65 set by Jana Mower (1998-2001)...With her 249career games played, is the most tenured player in Lady Cajuns’ history along with fellow senior Jerie Alexander.

2001: First shortstop and 29th All-American named in Lady Cajuns’ history...Named NCAA Division I National Champion for RBIs and set single-season school record for home runs (15)...Led Lady Cajuns in batting average, home runs, RBIs, doubles, total bases, sacrifice flies and slugging percentage...Had single-season school record 79 RBIs...Had at least four RBIs in eight contests...Was named NFCA-Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week in March after strong weekend at Kia Klassic...Went 6-for-15 with three home runs and six RBIs against No. 2 Arizona, No. 9 Cal State Fullerton, No. 24 Cal State Northridge, UNLV, and Utah State...Home run against Arizona broke a 3-3 tie in bottom of sixth and handed UA first loss of 2001 (one of four for national champs)...Against Middle Tennessee, went 10-for-14 with a home run and seven RBIs...In doubleheader vs. MT March 31, combined to go 7-for-7 and reached base in all eight plate appearances...Made All-Regional team at Baton Rouge after going 3-for-10, including a home run against All-American Britni Sneed.

2000: First-team All-Sun Belt pick emerged as a leader during sophomore season…Paced team in doubles (17), runs (68), walks (30) and sacrifice flies (5)…Run total set new school record, breaking mark Tiffany Clark set in 1999…Led team in home runs for second straight season with 14…Rattled off a team-best 20-game hitting streak from Feb. 22-March 17, good for second-longest in school history…Second on team in slugging percentage and hits…In addition to power, showed ability to reach base, doing so almost 44 percent of the time… Spent most of season hitting leadoff…Scored school-record five runs in 35-1 demolition of Southern…Reached base in all but eight games.

1999: Set freshman record for 12 home runs and led team that set school record for round-trippers...Collected first career home run against No. 5 Michigan Feb. 26...Hit game-winning bomb against No. 12 Oregon State March 18 for only run of game in 1-0 win...Also hit home run next day against Fresno State and turned spectacular double play during game...Hit another game-winning home run April 13 at Northeast La., with three-run shot as Lady Cajuns trailed 3-1 late...Posted season-best 14-game hitting streak from April 6-20.

High School: Named All-District four times and All-State twice at St. Amant High School...Also a three-year letter winner in basketball...While playing for Louisiana Patriots in summer ball, hit .400 and advanced to nationals in 18U...Went 4-for-4 in one game at national tournament in Oklahoma City with two home runs, a triple and a single.

Personal: Born February 29, 1980 in Port Arthur, Texas...Parents are Ricky and Jackie Addison...Has one younger sister...Majoring in exercise science...Favorite athlete is Derek Jeter...Also considered LSU before choosing the Lady Cajuns.
