2003 Season Notes: Earned her first career win at the Division I level on April 13 against New Mexico State; got the win in relief tossing three innings of scoreless softball while striking out six batters...Opponents are hitting just .200 against Reese...Has surrendered just four hits in 5 1/3 innings of work...Made her first appearance of the season in the top of the fifth of game two against Boston U. on March 10...Struck out one and walked one in one inning of work against the Terriers...Recently accepted into the Texas Medical School, which is a first for the Ragin’ Cajuns softball program, she is an active member of the athletics department’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee. She serves as a secretary for the SAAC committee and represents softball...Was unable to travel with the team her junior season due to her studies.

2002: Saw time in seven games...Mainly used as a relief pitcher...Combined for two shutouts...Logged 10 innings in seven appearances...Tossed four strikeouts while walking two....Allowed eight hits...Did not travel with the team in order to attend pre-med classes.

Pre-Louisiana-Lafayette: Was a JUCO All-American at Temple Junior College in 2000...Went 24-4 with 247 strikeouts in 180 innings...Strikeout total was good for third in the nation...Pitched Temple to its first-ever Northern Conference championship...Had a 0.97 ERA as a sophomore.

High School: Attended Concordia Lutheran, graduating in 1999...Received National Merit Commendation and was a three-year member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Born Sept. 16, 1981 in Dallas, Texas...Daughter of Russ and Alyce Reese...Biology major who currently sports a 3.8 GPA...Wants to attend medical school after graduation.
