In his second season with the Cajuns, started 33 games at catcher...Increased his power numbers, hitting eight doubles and four home runs...Half of his hits went for extra bases (12 of 24)...Third with 211 putouts...Had six multi-hit and six multi-RBI games...Hit two doubles and scored twice in the second game of the Nebraska doubleheader Feb. 21...Beginning with LSU game on March 11, posted multiple RBI in four of six games including three hits, three times...Didn't get a hit, but did the little things to push across three RBI March 21 vs. UALR to help clinch the series victory...First career home run came in upset win at LSU, belting one in the third inning, extending the lead to 7-1.

Started 14 games at catcher, appearing in 27 total...Caught five runners trying to steal, allowing eight to advance...Notched six hits with two doubles, a triple, and one RBI with six walks, finishing the season batting .136.

High School

Was a four-year letterwinner at Barbe High School in Lake Charles...Was a four-time All-District pick, while earning All-Southwest honors twice and All-State once...Led Bucs to four state playoff appearances, including the state title in 2006...Was named to the Rawlings and TPX High School All-American teams.
