Louisiana Reschedules Women's Tennis Match With Northwestern State

Ragin' Cajuns to now host Lady Demons on March 11
LAFAYETTE - Due to forecasted inclement weather that's expected to pass through the region on Saturday, January 24, the Louisiana Women's Tennis match at Cajun Courts against Northwestern State has been rescheduled and moved to the month of March.
The match between the Ragin' Cajuns and Lady Demons has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 11 at 4:45 p.m. and the contest remains at Cajun Courts.
Louisiana is off to a 2-0 start in its Spring 2026 dual match season following an opening day doubleheader sweep of Louisiana Christan and Southern University.
The Ragin' Cajuns capture identical 4-0 decisions over the Wildcats and Jaguars. Leading the way was Angelique Berrat and Rocio Navarro who both picked up a singles win in each match, accounting for two of the three singles points each time.
UL is in its 11th season with head coach Stephanie Vallejos, the program's winningest coach. Berrat, Navarro and Nina Krecklenberg are the veterans providing leadership and proven succes in singles competition and they are joined by a group of five freshmen in navigating the 2026 season.
