Sun Belt Conference Announces 2025-26 Men’s Basketball Schedule

The Cajuns open SBC play at Southern Miss on December 18
LAFAYETTE - The Sun Belt Conference announced the 2025-26 men's basketball schedule on Thursday. Louisiana opens the conference schedule on December 18 at Southern Miss.
The Cajuns follow that contest with a road game at ULM on December 20. Louisiana returns to the Cajundome for the next four as part of a five-game homestand, including defending MEAC champion Norfolk State. South Alabama comes to Lafayette on December 31, followed by Southern Miss on January 3, ULM on January 8, and defending SBC champion Troy on January 10.
The team then hits the road for the next four, starting with a trip to San Marcos to face Texas State on January 14. The Cajuns then head east to South Alabama on January 17 before games at App State on January 22 and Old Dominion on January 24.
Five of the last eight SBC games will be in the Cajundome, plus the MAC-SBC Challenge game on February 7. The Cajuns welcome Georgia State on January 29 and Georgia Southern on January 31 before hitting the road to face James Madison on February 4.
Coastal Carolina comes to town on February 12 before the team closes the home slate against Arkansas State on February 19 and Texas State on February 21 in the home finale. The Cajuns wrap up the regular season on the road at Troy on February 24 and at Arkansas State on February 27.
