Louisiana Announces 2025 Cross Country Schedule

The season begins August 29 in New Orleans
LAFAYETTE - The Louisiana cross country team announced its 2025 schedule on Friday, July 25.Â
The season begins on August 29 at the Battle of New Orleans, where the Cajun men were fourth last season while the women finished fifth. The Cajuns stay in the state for the month of September. They head east to Baton Rouge for the LSU Invitational on September 12 before going west for the Cowboy Stampede on September 27 in Lake Charles.
Louisiana wraps up the regular season with a trip to College Station for the Texas A&M Invitational on October 17. Postseason begins on October 31 in Foley, Alabama, with the Sun Belt Conference Championships before taking on the NCAA Regionals on November 14 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Louisiana looks to improve on last season, where the Cajuns women finished sixth in the SBC while the men were seventh.Â
