STATESBORO, Ga. – The Louisiana Volleyball team puts the finishing touches on the 2025 season in a cross-division SBC series with Georgia Southern on the road at Hanner Fieldhouse in Statesboro, Georgia from Thursday-Friday, November 13-14.
Â
The two-match series in Statesboro concludes play in the 2025 season for the Ragin' Cajuns (14-10, 6-8 SBC). It's the program's first visit to Hanner Fieldhouse in six years (last appeared in October 2019).
Â
Play begins at 5:00 p.m. (CST) on both Thursday and Friday night. Both matches will air live on ESPN+.
Â
Senior opposite hitter Cailin Demps makes her final push toward and attempt to reach the 1,000-career kills mark. She enters the series needing 44 kills to collect the career milestone. Last week vs. ULM, Demps pushed past 300 kills for the season, marking a new career-high total and first time reaching the mark.
Â
Freshman Lindsey Henry looks to add to her team-leading blocks total, currently at 80 (7 BS, 73 BA). She's locked in to become the first true freshman to lead UL in blocks since Chanelle Gardner (99) in 2013.
Â
The Ragin' Cajuns are two wins away from matching its highest finish above .500 with Kristi Gray (19-13 in 2023). Two more wins would also bring the squad to the second-highest win total of Gray's tenure.
