Ragin' Cajuns, Red Wolves Meet in Key SBC Series in Jonesboro

Louisiana looking to elevate its position in the race for a conference tournament spot
JONESBORO, Ark. – The Louisiana Volleyball team is on the road this week in Jonesboro, Arkansas for a two-match Sun Belt Conference series with Arkansas State at First National Bank Arena from Friday-Saturday, October 31-November 1.

The Ragin' Cajuns (12-8, 4-6 SBC) are scheduled to meet the Red Wolves (14-7, 7-3 SBC) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday (Oct. 31) and 1:00 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 1). Live video coverage of both matches is available on ESPN+.

One week after taking down current SBC West leader South Alabama for another marquee conference win, Louisiana gets a shot at another division frontrunner in the second-place ASU squad.

UL has been successful in recent trips to Jonesboro, having won four straight meetings over ASU in FNB dating back to the 2019 season.

It's a high stakes series for both teams. The Ragin' Cajuns look to put themselves in a position to earn an SBC Tournament spot next week, while the Red Wolves aim to keep pace with South Alabama, division-record wise, to set up a battle for the SBC West title next week in Mobile.

Louisiana will be celebrating Senior Weekend during the series with the Warhawks. The Senior Day ceremony honoring opposite hitter Cailin Demps, the team's lone senior, will be held prior to the start of Friday's match.

UL and ULM are slated to meet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday (Nov. 6) and 12:00 p.m. on Friday (Nov. 7). Thursday's contest is being broadcast on ESPN+.
