The Ragin’ Cajuns are up to 17 wins through two days of the Youngsville Hidden Duals
LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana men's tennis team continued their strong start to the fall with eight more wins on Saturday at the Youngsville Hidden Duals. After nine wins yesterday, the Ragin' Cajuns are up to 17 on the weekend.
Louisiana had a big day in singles, winning seven matches. The team won four against in-state foe Tulane while taking another three from Tyler Junior College. Vasil Dimitrov, Calin Postea, Mason Landreth, and Darius Balan all earned their second straight win of the weekend. William Ribero, Leonard Tramolay, and William Jade also earned victories, giving everyone on the team at least one singles win. In doubles, Landreth and Samuel Kyjaci picked up a 6-4 win for the team's fourth doubles win of the weekend.
Louisiana wraps up the Youngsville Hidden Duals tomorrow starting at 9:30 a.m. against Tulane before taking on Southern Miss in singles in the afternoon.
