>> The Cajuns are scheduled for first-time matchups with Miami and Liberty while meeting OU for the first time since March 2019.

>> UL will be one of the first teams to get a look at Oklahoma's newly opened Love's Field during the facility's opening weekend.

>> Louisiana started the week with an 8-2 win at Nicholls sparked by a combined five RBI from Victoria Valdez and Sam Roe and a season-best three double plays turned.

>> Sophie Piskos, Lauren Allred, Alexa Langeliers, Brooke Ellestad and Sam Landry joined Davis on the Preseason All-Sun Belt Team.

>> Louisiana now has a veteran-laden roster with Gerry Glasco's No. 1 recruiting Class of 2022 now entering their junior campaign, plus the key offseason transfer additions of five upperclassmen.
