Louisiana Takes on SFA in Mid-Week Match

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Louisiana women's tennis team heads west to face Stephen F. Austin on Tuesday for a mid-week match. The contest was originally scheduled over the weekend but pushed back due to weather.

Louisiana looks to get back in the win column after falling to Rice at home last time out. Cristina Tchanichev is 2-0 in singles this season, winning both her matches on court two. Karolina Skowronska and Kamea Medora also have a pair of wins in singles this season.

The Cajuns take on Stephen F. Austin, who is 5-0 on the year. Two of the Lumberjack's wins this young season have come against Sun Belt Conference opposition, defeating Arkansas State and ULM. Felicia Back has been off to a great start for SFA, winning her first five singles matches on court two. Overall they're 17-8 in singles and 10-3 in doubles this season.
