Kitenge Earns Preseason First Team All-SBC Honors

The Cajuns were picked to finish fourth in the league
LAFAYETTE – Hosana Kitenge was named to the All-Sun Belt Conference Preseason First Team the league announced on Monday. Last season Kitenge earned All-SBC Third Team honors. The league also announced its preseason poll on Monday which had the Ragin' Cajuns fourth.
Kitenge was second on the team last season in scoring and rebounding during conference play at 13.7 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. He recorded five double-doubles including a huge 23-point, 17-rebound performance at App State. Once the calendar flipped to 2024, Kitenge scored in double figures in all but one game and grabbed at least five rebounds in all but one game.
