The Cajuns host three Hidden Duals during the fall season

LAFAYETTE, LA - After finishing the 2023 spring season ranked No. 74 in the nation and a third-place finish in the Sun Belt Conference, the Louisiana men's tennis team is back in action starting September 15 in Youngsville.

The Sugarcane Invitational opens the season at the Youngsville Sports Complex from September 15-17, with Lamar, Nicholls, and Tyler Junior College coming to Acadiana. The Cajuns then head west for the Lake Charles Hidden Dual at the Lake Charles Racquet Club from Friday, September 22 to Sunday, September 24.

The team then hits the road for Hattiesburg, Mississippi for the Southern Miss Invitational beginning Friday, October 6. The event overlaps the backend of the ITA All-American Championships, which start September 30 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

A week after their Mississippi trip, the Cajuns head to Auburn, Alabama for the ITA Regionals from Thursday, October 12 to Monday, October 16. The Cajuns then return home for the Cajuns Classic in Lafayette from October 20-22. The team wraps up October in Birmingham, Alabama with the CCB Invitational beginning October 27 before they close the fall schedule at the UNLV Invitational from November 3-5 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Cajuns return the majority of last season's roster, led by Alejandro Sanchez Gonzalez, Alejo Ferrer Chueca, and Vasil Dimitrov. Joining them will be Oriol Fillat Gimenez, who missed last season due to injury, and highly touted freshman Mason Landreth, a three-time Louisiana state champion in singles play.
