Louisiana-Coastal Carolina Series to Conclude Saturday With Doubleheader

Cajuns and Chants to start play at 12:00 p.m. (CDT) from Conway
CONWAY, S.C. - With potential inclement weather forecasted for Sunday, April 30 in the Conway, South Carolina area, the final two games of the Sun Belt Conference Softball series between No. 25 Louisiana and Coastal Carolina will be played as part of a Saturday (April 29) doubleheader at St. John Stadium.
The doubleheader on Saturday is scheduled to begin with the first game at 12:00 p.m. (CDT), followed by the second game approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first.
Both games of Saturday's doubleheader are being televised on ESPN+, while radio coverage is available in the Acadiana region via 103.3 FM The Goat and worldwide on the Varsity Network.
The Ragin' Cajuns (37-13, 17-2 SBC) and Chanticleers (33-16, 9-10 SBC) opened the three-game SBC series on Friday. Home runs from Sophie Piskos in the third inning and Lauren Allred in the fifth inning led to Louisiana breaking open a 1-0 game en route to a resounding 11-0 (6 inn.) victory.
