Cajuns Carry Sweep Momentum into Midweek Finale at McNeese

Louisiana looks to build off Coastal Carolina series sweep and reverse road fortunes
LAKE CHARLES – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball team heads west on I-10 to Lake Charles for its final midweek game, taking on McNeese on Tuesday, April 21 in a 6:00 p.m. contest at Joe Miller Field at Cowgirl Diamond.
The Ragin' Cajuns (25-22) and Cowgirls (31-18) will be completing this spring's home-and-home series.
In the season's earlier meeting on March 24 at Lamson Park, first-inning home runs from Haley Hart (leading off) and Brooke Otto set the tone in a 5-2 win for Louisiana that was secured by solid pitching efforts from Bethaney Noble (5.1 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 3K) and Sage Hoover (1.2 P, 0 H, 0 R, 2 K).
The UL-McNeese rematch will be televised on ESPN+ with Tom Hoefer and Ron Hayes calling the action. Radio coverage is available on The GOAT 103.3 FM and 1420 AM in the Acadiana region and worldwide on Varsity Network with Cody Junot (pxp) and Bobby Neveaux (analyst) providing commentary.
After Tuesday's trip to Lake Charles, the Ragin' Cajuns return to Lamson Park for the final home Sun Belt Conference series of the season vs. Marshall from Friday-Sunday, April 24-26. UL will celebrate Senior Day on Saturday, April 25 highlighted by the annual Bats and Bugs Crawfish Boil following the contest.
