Ragin’ Cajuns Look to Take Over Texas in Pair of Weekend Meets

The Cajuns will split events in San Marcos and Austin, Texas this weekend
LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana track and field team heads west to Texas this weekend to compete in a pair of events. They'll be represented in Austin at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays as well as the Bobcat Invitational in San Marcos starting Thursday, March 30.
The Ragin' Cajuns have gotten off to a terrific start in outdoors this spring. Last weekend at the Battle on the Bayou, the Cajuns posted 11 results that rank in the top-10 in the history of the program. Sophie Daigle set a pair of program records in the women's 3k and 1500 meter events. The team captured the gold in seven events in Baton Rouge.
The Cajuns will compete over three days at both sites, which are located just over 30 miles apart from one another.
