Friday Softball vs. App State at Lamson Moved Up to 3:00 p.m.

Contest marks the start of Sun Belt Home Opener for Louisiana
LAFAYETTE - With the potential for inclement weather in the evening hours on Friday, March 24 in the Lafayette area, No. 23 Louisiana Softball's Sun Belt home opener vs. App State at Yvette Girouard Field at Lamson Park has been moved up to 3:00 p.m.
The Ragin' Cajuns (21-9, 3-0 SBC) are making their much-awaited return to Lamson Park after spending the first three weekends of March on the road.
Louisiana is holding Alumni and Louisiana Salutes Weekend during the App State series. All veterans and active military can get a discounted ticket at the box office throughout the series. An Easter Egg Hunt and alumni home run derby will be held after the conclusion of play on Saturday.
